A computer-based, decentralised central battery unit (CBU) designed to house multiple CBUs across one location. Sicuro is a central system using a sophisticated software package to program, monitor and control individual emergency luminaires on-site or remotely.
Each CBU operates a designated compartment of emergency lighting, enabling the specific unit to be activated in the event of an emergency. There are no large ventilation rooms required as a unit can be easily mounted in small spaces within cupboards and plant rooms.
The CBU connects to up to 4 fire protected cables providing 240 AC volts of electricity through the DS3UV data cable. Each cable can house a maximum of 32 LED lights, supplying 24 volts with a maximum of 72 watts.
In the event of an emergency, a unit will provide a low voltage of emergency power.
